For urologists

Referral marketing for urologists

Urologists grow by referral from primary care, nephrology and oncology, and not every practice sends patients out. Leadaura lists those practices in your radius, reads each website for who owns it and whether it already offers urology, prostate care and vasectomy, and ranks the independent practices that don't first, with who to ask for and how to reach them.

Who refers to urologists

Urology referrals come from primary care, plus nephrology and oncology practices whose patients need urologic care. Independent practices decide for themselves; those inside a health system often refer inside it.

You choose which practices to include: family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, primary care clinics, nephrology, oncology. Every run starts with primary care.

What we check on each practice's website

Two checks on every practice's own website: who owns it (independent, or part of a health system), and whether it already offers the services of a urologist. The watch list for this specialty:

  • urology
  • prostate care
  • vasectomy

When a website doesn't say who owns the practice, the row says so instead of guessing. A practice that refers inside a health system isn't taken off your list; it ranks lower and the row says why.

The ranking also rewards busier practices (five or more Google reviews in the last 90 days) and practices close to you. Each row tells you why it ranked where it did.

What each practice comes with

  • The right contact (referral coordinator, practice manager, office manager) where we can find one
  • A work email checked before it reaches you, and a direct line where one exists
  • The practice's phone, address, website, Google rating and review count
  • Who owns it, and which of the services above it already offers
  • An opener written from what we found, for the first call or visit
  • A map of your radius and a visit route, plus a CSV for your coordinator

How to work the list

  1. Reach independent primary care first

They aren't tied to a system's urology group, so they are the clearest prospects.

  2. Add nephrology and oncology

Both are on the urology source list and are often overlooked by outreach aimed only at primary care.

  3. Ask for the person who handles referrals

In many practices that is a referral coordinator or the practice manager, not the physician. Each row names them when we find them.

  4. Make referring easy, then report back

A direct line for their front desk and a short note on every case keeps the next patient coming.

The full approach is in our guide to getting more referrals from primary care practices.

Questions

What does Leadaura check for urologists?

Who owns each practice (independent or part of a health system) and whether it already offers urology, prostate care or vasectomy.

How does Leadaura tell an independent practice from one owned by a health system?

It reads each practice's own website for the owner or health system name, and marks the practice unknown when the site doesn't say. Independent practices with no in-house service rank first.

Can I run it for urologists today?
