For endodontists

Referral marketing for endodontists

Endodontists grow by referral from general dentists who send root canals out. Leadaura lists every general dentist in your radius, reads each website for root canals, retreatment and apicoectomy, and ranks the offices that don't list them first, with who to ask for and how to reach them.

Who refers to endodontists

Your referrals come from general dentists. A Leadaura run pulls every one of them inside your radius (5 to 25 miles) and skips offices you already have from earlier runs.

You choose which offices to include: general dentists, family dentists, pediatric dentists, cosmetic practices, group practices.

What we check on each office's website

Each office's own website is read for the work endodontists take on: root canals, retreatment and apicoectomy. The exact watch list for this specialty:

  • root canals
  • endodontic therapy
  • root canal retreatment
  • apicoectomy

A page that only says the office refers to a specialist does not count as doing the work in-house. When a website can't be read, the row says so instead of guessing.

The ranking also rewards busier offices (five or more Google reviews in the last 90 days), offices with a newly licensed dentist or a new associate, independent practices over dental groups, and offices close to you. Each row tells you why it ranked where it did.

What each office comes with

  • The owner dentist and, when we find them, the office manager, with their role
  • A work email checked before it reaches you, and a direct line where one exists
  • The office phone, address, website, Google rating and review count
  • What they send out and what they keep in-house, from their own website
  • An opener written from what we found, for the first call or visit
  • A map of your radius and a visit route, plus a CSV for your coordinator

How to work the list

  1. Start with the call-first offices

Their websites don't mention root canals at all.

  2. Don't skip offices that list root canals

They move down the list, but many still send retreatments and difficult cases. Ask what they keep and what they send.

  3. Offer emergency slots

Same-day pain appointments are what a general dentist's front desk remembers.

  4. Send the films and notes back

Close the loop on every case so the dentist can finish the restoration.

The full playbook is in our guide to getting more referrals from general dentists.
